A vizsgázónak be kell mutatnia, hogy képes betű- és számcsoportokat, írásjeleket tartalmazó morzekódokat adni, illetve venni 3 percig, 6 WPM ( = Words Per Minute, ahol egy szó öt karakterből áll ), azaz 30 karakter/perc sebességgel kézi úton.
Az adásban legfeljebb 1 javítatlan és 4 javított, a vételben 4 hiba lehet.
Recommendation T/R 61-02 Harmonised Amateur Radio Examination Certificates ( HAREC ):
The examinee is required to demonstrate his ability to send and transcribe in Morse code, plain texts, number groups,
punctuation and other signs:
at a speed not less than 5 words per minute
for a duration of at least 3 minutes
with a maximum of 4 errors in reception
with a maximum of 1 uncorrected and 4 corrected errors in transmission
using a non-automatic Morse key
The revision of 2003 removed the requirement for sending and receiving of Morse code signals.
